What joining the group gives you

Machine operators need availability. Specialised, OEM-independent suppliers deliver it: fast, reliable and close to the customer. These are the companies we bring together.

Secure your wealth

Part of the capital tied up in your company moves into your private assets, spreading your risk.

Grow faster together

Within a group, value typically rises faster than in a single company. We fund investment, expansion and add-on acquisitions.

Solve succession

If you wish, we build a succession plan together with you, at your pace.

What you gain from the group

  • Capital for growth. For investment, expansion and add-on acquisitions.
  • Sparring at eye level. Experienced partners for strategy, finance and projects who take work off your plate rather than interfere.
  • Shared services on request. Accounting, controlling or IT, only where it helps you.
  • Digitalisation and sales. Support with web shops, sales management and new markets.

Every company in the group stays independent – with its own brand, its own management and its own customer relationships.

Reinvestment

Sell without letting go

You sell the majority and secure part of your life’s work. With part of the proceeds you remain a shareholder and share in the company’s further development, up to a later sale. How much you keep and which role you take on, we decide together.

  • Liquidity now – part of your wealth is secured
  • A share in future value growth – you grow with us
  • The role you want – managing director, advisory board or shareholder in the background

After more than ten years, I wanted to put DHV in good hands without letting go completely. Through the group, we were able to hand over to my son calmly and with professional support. At the same time, I stayed on as a shareholder and continue to share in the growth.”

What owners say about the group

Together we professionalised MAXI-PRESS, made acquisitions in Germany and Australia and grew strongly. In the end, we sold the company together to a strategic buyer. How convinced am I of the model? I personally invested in the companies that joined the group afterwards.”

Family succession solved, still invested. Over more than ten years, Axel Grissmer built DHV Marine into a global specialist in spare and wear parts for marine compressors. In 2023, DHV joined the Industrial Aftermarket Group. The founder remained a shareholder through a reinvestment. Together, the handover to the next generation was prepared step by step. In 2026, his son Sven Grissmer took over as managing director; Axel Grissmer has supported the company as an adviser since then.

MAXI-PRESS supplies industrial laundries with spare and wear parts. AUCTUS invested in 2018, and in 2020 MAXI-PRESS became the nucleus of the Industrial Aftermarket Group. Together with managing director Tim Zaiser, the company was professionalised and expanded through acquisitions in Germany and Australia. After a period of strong growth, MAXI-PRESS was sold to a strategic buyer. Tim Zaiser continues to run the company and has invested in other group companies.

FAQ

What owners ask us most

Will I stay on as managing director?

If you wish, yes. If you want to hand over, we build the succession together and manage the transition at your pace.

What role will I have after the sale?

That is up to you. Some owners stay at the helm, others hand over step by step and stay on as advisers – like Axel Grissmer at DHV, who handed the management over to his son.

What happens to my employees, the name and the location?

They stay. We do not integrate for the sake of integrating. You use shared services only where they help you.

Do I have to change my systems, such as the ERP?

No. Your systems stay as long as they work. For the monthly report we use the figures your accounting already produces. We offer shared IT or accounting, but we do not impose them.

Will there be cost cutting after the acquisition?

Our model is built on growth, not on cost-cutting programmes. Decisions about your team remain with local management.

How much of my company do I sell?

The majority. You typically keep a meaningful stake and benefit from the company’s further development.

How does the reinvestment work?

You reinvest part of the purchase price and remain a shareholder. You share proportionally in the further increase in value and in a later sale. Amount, rights and exit are set out transparently in the contract.

How is the purchase price determined?

The indicative offer is based on the last three annual financial statements and sustainable earnings power. After due diligence, it is finalised in the purchase agreement.

How is confidentiality ensured?

We sign an NDA before any documents are exchanged. Employees, customers and suppliers are only approached after agreement with you.

What happens to my company in the long run?

Our shareholder AUCTUS is a financial investor. In due course, the group or an individual company may pass to new owners. Through your retained stake, you share in the increase in value up to that point.
